I installed these air lifts on my Mercury Villager mini-van to provide lift while towing our travel trailer (2700 lbs). The rear springs were getting weak. Installation took me about 4 hours, but I did a lot of double checking, and others could easily do it faster. The air lifts work excellent for my purposes, leveled everything out and improved the towing as well. Didn't have to worry about scraping on steep driveway. I attached the air valves into the lower edge of the left rear bumper plastic, and used a bike pump and tire gauge to adjust the air pressure. It also worked well during travel for over night stays without unhitching. I could adjust the front trailer height, for leveling, by adding or letting out air on the air lifts. We towed the trailer over 10,000 miles with the air lifts installed. We now have a new tow vehicle, and currently don't need the air lifts, but I miss the over night leveling ability. I would not hesitate to add the air lifts again.
