(More customer reviews)This product serves its purpose. Many people have no issues with it, but I'm a perfectionist, and I must point out some problems.
First, the instructions are WRONG. No radiator drain is necessary.. no welding of the t-case linkage is needed.. most of the stuff they have you doing is 100% precautionary for issues that most likely never will arise. It is NOT necessary to remove a fan shroud in order to trim it. A hot knife will cut it just laying down underneath it. Honestly though, you're better off just removing the fan. It does nothing in the Dakotas.
Second off.. the steering shaft extension. It's not set up right. It just extends the yoke, making the u-joint unsupported, and causing play in the steering wheel. No matter how tight it is.. there will never be good steering.
I personally manufactured my own shaft to fix this problem, and have overcome several other issues raised by this kit in my own way... but for the normal people, this kit will be fine for you.
All you guys who want things perfect.. you're better off doing this on your own. The only thing that I didn't modify was the front bumper bracket.
