Ford F150 1992. 33" tires. I off road on severe trails and light rocks. If I lift to far I can't get through some trails or into my garage. I had installed 1.5" lift springs which got me 1" of lift. This was fine but after a custom bumper and winch I had lost that and more. I had bought air bags but as I only have 4" of compression between the axle and frame, that would have mostly been lost due to the 1-1/2" of shim for the bag plus the bag inside of the spring. Also more shim would have been needed as the bags are made for stock height.
So I installed the Daystar spacers and got 2" from where I was and am happy. The truck looks level with the stock height in the rear. I have not been off road yet but the on road ride is the same. I have adjusted my toe in but haven't messed with camber or caster. The truck had been aligned with the lift springs and no bumper. With the beating it has taken since then I am sure they need attention.
What didn't I like about them? Nothing yet.
