(More customer reviews)I bought the set about 5 months ago and am now replacing the second sleeve after just a few months (I replaced the other sleeve a few months ago too). I have a power wheelchair and a lift on the back of my Toyota Tacoma 2005 4 door truck. The first sleeve blew out within a month or so. Yep - just carrying a single wheelchair and the lift only weights 60 pounds. I emailed the manufacturing company Air Lift tech support several times and never received any response. Now I am buying yet another sleeve.
The Amazon seller is great - good price and fast shipping. But the Air Lift Company will ignore you when you need help. That is the reason I am writing this. When you go to their site, they jump up and down about how great their support is. So when they offered email support, I assumed they would actually answer an email. Nope - not one single time. Not even when I emailed their sales people asking for help buying a replacement part. Air Lift must mean lifting your money and the support is in thin air.
Bottom line: the sleeves wear out fast - no support - and the set I bought will not even support a wheelchair and lift. Imagine if you have a boat, camper or other heavy load.
